Trouble Finding Bone Meal?
Some folks have reported having a difficult time finding bone meal. Although bone meal is our first choice, if you cannot locate a source, you can use this substitute:
For every teaspoon of bone meal,
- replace with 3/4 teaspoon of dicalcium phosphate (UPCO.com)
- PLUS 1/2 teaspoon of a calcium-only source (for example, Animal Essentials calcium, eggshell, calcium citrate).
